Licensed moneylenders are not allowed to advertise or solicit for business via the internet, social media or text messaging. *All such loan ads are scams or illegal!* 📵
Licensed moneylenders will not require upfront payments or “admin fees” from you to take a loan 🤑

*Impersonation Scam*
Scammers use fake personas (e.g. police officer, government/bank officials) to convince you to part with your hard-earned money!! 😱🤯
Don’t panic!
Don’t believe without checking!
*Don’t transfer money or reveal your bank details / OTP!*
✅ Check if the incoming call has a “+65” prefix, as local calls will not contain such “+” prefixes
✅ Verify request by calling the official agency/company hotlines

Scammers create fake social media profiles and entice victims into false sense of love and relationship with incessant sweet nothings.
They then fabricate *sob stories, get-rich schemes or promises of gifts and visits* to manipulate victims into making monetary transactions, but they all lead to the same outcome… leaving the victims with a broken heart and an empty pocket! 💔 💸

✅ Confide in your family members or friends
🚨 Refuse to make any monetary transaction (e.g. paying of bills 🏥, fees 🎁, investment 📈) if you have not met the person in real life
