When you think of what Hadestown did, you realise they took the only possible route for adapting it. What would the most beautiful song be about, if not about the love of Hades and Persephone itself?

While I do agree that we need to stop rebooting the same stuff over and over again, I believe that some franchises are suitable to be adapted for every generation and it's only fair that young people get to experience their own version
