Being a woman sometimes is a struggle. I don't get taken seriously because I'm not feminine enough, I don't get taken seriously because I'm too feminine. It's something I can never shake off whether I want it or not. It's a struggle, but it's also a joy. It's one I was born with, but that doesn't make it inherently more valid just cause it's something I have since birth.
And I rather share the joys of my womanhood with girls who fought to be considered as such than share the struggles of womanhood with people who think it's something sacred you cannot get in another way.
