Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi, commander of #Ukraine’s Ground Forces, announced he was tendering his resignation on Sunday following an alleged Russian airstrike on a Ukrainian training facility that killed at least 12 soldiers.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Drapatyi said his decision was “a conscious step dictated by my personal sense of responsibility for the tragedy at the 239th training ground.”
