According to #AlMayadeen's correspondent, dozens of hungry Palestinians heading to a #US aid distribution site in #Rafah, southern #Gaza, were fired upon by Israeli troops.
At least 30 people have been killed and 130 people injured in a preliminary toll, according to our correspondent, and waves of injured and martyrs continue to arrive at Nasser Medical Complex following the horrific massacre.
The Gaza Government Media Office released a statement calling the massacre a blatant war crime, accusing "Israel" of methodically using aid as a tool of war to blackmail hungry civilians.
"The occupation’s latest crime is further evidence of its ongoing implementation of genocide through starvation," the Media Office said.

India’s Chief of Defense Staff, Gen. Anil Chauhan, has acknowledged for the first time that the Indian Air Force lost fighter jets during the #India-Pakistan aerial clashes in May, marking a rare admission.
The statement comes in response to earlier remarks by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who asserted that #Pakistan downed six Indian jets during the confrontation. While Gen. Chauhan dismissed that number as “absolutely incorrect,” he refrained from specifying how many aircraft were actually lost.
Speaking to Bloomberg TV on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue 2025 in #Singapore, Chauhan emphasized that the focus should not solely be on the downing of jets, but rather on the operational missteps that led to the incident.
“What is important is that, not the jet being downed, but why they were being downed,” he stated.

In a similar context, Merav Ceren, an Israeli-American official handling the Iran portfolio, was recently dismissed, along with Eric Trager, who oversaw Middle East and North Africa affairs at the US National Security Council. Both were known as strong pro-"Israel" voices within the #US administration, according to reports.
The channel reported that Merav Ceren and Eric Trager were appointed under former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz but were later removed by his successor, Marco Rubio, after Waltz became the US ambassador to the UN.

Seven people lost their lives and 69 others were injured when a highway bridge collapsed onto railway tracks, causing a train to derail in the Bryansk region late Saturday, according to #Russia’s emergency ministry and regional officials.
Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz stated on Telegram that 47 individuals were taken to the hospital. He mentioned that three children were among the injured, with one reported to be in serious condition.
The acting governor of the #Bryansk region said the bridge collapse was caused by an explosion, according to Russia's Interfax agency.
"The bridge was blown up while the Klimovo-Moscow train was passing through with 388 passengers on board," Interfax quoted Alexander Bogomaz as saying to Russia’s public broadcaster
