—> Rajya Sabha on Monday passed the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
—> Moved by Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, the bill fundamentally modifies the original MSMED Act, 2006.
—> Its primary core objectives are to resolve delayed payment cycles, ease regulatory compliance, and digitise operations.
