Key 2513 – Genesis 48: Blessing of Ephraim and Manasseh
In Genesis 48, Jacob blesses Ephraim and Manasseh. But it was never about bloodline. The Exodus showed us that. As did other stories throughout the Old Testament. Much later, Jesus and Jerome explained it too.

Lots of Texans pitching a fit about the Muslim EPIC City development in the DFW area. Mainly churchians. But nobody is talking about what "religion" really means and whether or not Texans should have religious freedom. Right now they don't. If they did, Christian versions of the EPIC project would be as prominent as megachurches and as numerous as church buildings.

They would not be subject to property tax because they would pave their own streets, keep track of their own legal records/property titles, educate their own children, have their own version of marriage licenses, divorce courts, child adoption, etc.

They wouldn't be subject to the US social security system, because they would take care of their own elderly. They would also have their own healthcare and more.

They would have private courts, real juries of real peers, and a system of appellate courts (cities of refuge). Of course, things like murder, rape, and pedophilia would be subject do the state legal systems. (Although offenders would probably get more punishment and victims more justice in the private courts.)

They would have their own banking system just like the early church did.

They would very likely provide education "scholarships" for deserving children, amazing healthcare alternatives, super healthy local food options, and many more to benefits the wider community.

But churchians rather play emotional games than strive for pure religion over public religion.

Key 2515 – Genesis 50: Burial of Jacob
In Genesis 50, Joseph mourned the passing of his father Jacob and got permission from Pharaoh to bury him in Egypt. The message is lot on the modern church which has no clue that it is back in the bondage of Egypt.

Key 2516 – Genesis 2: God Rests & Tree of Knowledge
So much of the message of Genesis 2 is hidden from modern Christians because they sit in darkness, practice idolatry, and covet their neighbor’s goods.

Key 2517 – Genesis 15: Charity and Societal Parasites
Genesis 15 covers a seemingly strange ritual where Abraham divides some animals and lays them out. When you see that each of these animals were symbols for things we experience today, you begin to understand the metaphor of the ritual and its practical meaning for our lives.

Key 2519 – Genesis 16: Sarai & Hagar
Genesis 16 provides details into the relationship of Sarai and Hagar. Unfortunately, the translation is as barren as Sarai. The story is rich with metaphors that show us how far our modern societies have fallen.

Key 2520 – Genesis 17: Covenant of Circumcision
A superficial reading of Genesis 17 gives the impression that Abraham and his rabble wondered the desert, focused on foreskins, and burned up animals. But we are the ones who have built the brutal society because we don’t understand the metaphor.

Key 2521 – Genesis 18: Abraham Intercedes for Sodom
Abraham intercedes of Sodom in Genesis 18. But this wasn’t about homosexuality. This was about something the modern church fails to warn against. That in which all society now participates.

Key 2522 – Genesis 14: Rescue of Lot
In Genesis 14, Abraham and an apparent ragtag band of men defeat the armies of five kings to free Lot and others in Sodom. Modern Christians can’t offer freedom to anyone because they live in darkness themselves and don’t know what the altars of Abraham were.

Key 2523 – Genesis 19: Destruction of Sodom
Why was Sodom destroyed? Not due to homosexuality. The form of government practiced in Sodom is the same type being practiced by modern Christianity. Yet they are frustrated and surprised by the results?!

Key 2526 – Genesis 22: God Tests Abraham
Genesis 22 is where we are told that God asks Abraham to sacrifice his some Isaac. But when we understand the metaphor or words and altars, burnt offerings, ram, thicket, and more, we see a very intriguing massage that has application for today.

Key 2527 – Genesis 23: Abraham Bowed
After Sarah’s death in Genesis 23, we see Abraham “bowing” to the people of the land. Is this a parallel to Jesus washing the feet of his disciples? When considered in terms of government, this lesson is eminently relevant to us today.

Key 2532 – Genesis 27: Looking Deeper
Genesis is full of key metaphors that should serve as a foundation for understanding the rest of the bible and having a significant impact within the society in which one finds himself. Instead, modern Christianity has lead us into the bondage of Egypt.
