We are working on the numbers, and we can see that we can complete the CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko reporting listing sheets again. There are quite a few users who have purchased #bPRCY #pPRCY #tPRCY #wPRCY in the past 2 years, since they are secured 1:1 with $PRCY (PRivaCY Coin Mainchain).

In addition, we can immediately process the other payments that have been made, such as Admin & Developer team payments, Bug Bounty rewards, small marketing attempt payments, a small portion for CCTip/airdrop tokens, rewards for some external developers, and so on.

It is important to submit the Circulating Supply request again to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. The result is quite good, we think we will double in Market Cap, and move up quite a few places.

Since we have a VIP account on CoinMarketCap and direct contact with Coingecko, updating will not take much time.

We will be doing the update today, because it is already quite a job to match Wrapped with $PRCY, but since the numbers are broadly clear, we will probably take a run-up. We can then make any minor adjustments later.

Dear PRivaCY Community,

We would like to update you on recent events regarding a bug in our system that was exploited. On February 3rd, one of our team members alerted us to a peculiar stake, which led us to discover a minting option/bug that someone had taken advantage of. This bug was inherited from daps and had gone unnoticed by Red4Sec.

Upon discovering this issue, we promptly contacted TradeOgre, as there was a significant amount of dumping taking place. With the help of Victor, we managed to retrieve most of the coins via our buyback program, and TradeOgre provided us with the details of the person responsible for the minting.

We reached out to the perpetrator via email, and after some back-and-forth communication, he confessed to being in financial trouble and resorting to illegal means to make money. He returned the minted coins and provided some tips on fixing the bug. Although this was only partially helpful, our developers did an excellent job and fixed the bug.

However, we later discovered that he had minted even more coins, prompting us to close all exchanges and attempt to block him. Although we managed to block some of his transactions, some went through. Fortunately, TradeOgre notified us that he is now sold out, and his accounts have been blocked.

To prevent further exploitation of the bug, we have released an updated version of the wallet which can be found here (https://github.com/PRCYCoin/PRCYCoin/releases/tag/2.0.0.5). This update is mandatory, and all wallets below v2.0.0.5 will end up with no connections or on a fork.
