NORTHEAST SYRIA — Syrian Democratic Observatory: Yesterday the bodies of Alawites were found dumped in the orchards of Besemmaqah village, Tartous countryside.
We confirm that those responsible for this massacre are the "General Security" terrorists [of the HTS-led government], who entered the coastal region allegedly to stop the massacres but are, in reality, continuing them.
A “General Security” checkpoint had been set up at the Dreikish junction in Besemmaqah village.
According to testimonies from locals, this checkpoint was responsible for detaining the young man Mohammed Melhem from the village of Ain Baluj.
His body, along with that of another young man, was found on Wednesday.
