Lots of protocols have become critically dependent on automation tools on #DEFI. But currently most of these protocols are still using their own centralized bots that are quite fragile and can fail at a very inappropriate moment.

This is why #onchain automation should be done on a #decentralized global scale by a fully permissionless network that can guarantee trustworthy transaction execution, offering a much more robust option than standalone #keeper bots.

1/ 🧵In the beginning, all of #DeFi consisted of manual transaction execution. Now, it has become evident that #automation is the future of #web3. #Blockchain ecosystems are evolving rapidly to include automated features, making them more efficient and user-friendly.

2/ The second version of the #PowerAgent network is a unique automation solution with distinctive and innovative features, including random Keeper selection, automated slashing mechanics, and Job-by-Job configurability.

(1) Random Keeper selection and the growing competition among Keeper #nodes make it extremely difficult for malicious actors to collude or target specific Jobs significantly contributing to the security of #PowerAgent.

(2) Automated slashing is the foundation of reliable Job #execution. #PowerAgent Keepers are incentivized to perform each given Job exactly on time. This lets the developer focus on building their product, not automating it.

(3) Job-by-Job configurability allows developers to tailor their #automation Jobs exactly to their needs. Various event triggers, Job specifications, gas fee ranges, and #Keepers’ staking requirements can all be configured for each task.

#PowerPool is collaborating with a variety of #DeFi protocols, gathering their feedback, and constantly upgrading #PowerAgent’s code and introducing new functionalities to fulfill the needs of all automation clients.

The team is currently focused on implementing #zk-verified off-chain computation features into #PowerAgent. This enhancement will expand #PowerPool's client base to include traders seeking to maintain the confidentiality of their strategies.

Another major development in #PowerPool’s 2024 roadmap is adding #MEV protection support. When Keeper network participants utilize MEV protection tools, outsourcing transaction signing can offer additional value for protecting automation users against sandwich attacks and front-running.

#PowerAgent is already deployed on the #Ethereum and #GnosisChain mainnet and #Sepolia testnet. Deployments on #Polygon, #Optimism, #Arbitrum, #Scroll, and #BNBChain are in the 2024 roadmap.

Deploying #PowerAgent Keeper nodes is a no-brainer for most #Ethereum #node runners because it’s just pure $ETH profit on top of what they’re already doing.

So we are hopeful that particularly home stakers and independent Ethereum node runners of all types will join the #PowerPool DAO, get actively involved in PowerAgent, and become PowerAgent node runners.
