Hello there.

Over the last weeks I have seen some issues with the hosted services on my servers. I have come to the realization that the server has gotten a bit overwhelmed and thus I will upgrade it over the next days. I will have to shutdown my projects for that, ideally only for a short moment. I will edit this message when the shutdown happens and once it is done.

Hi. I am @Poolitzer, I keep close track of what the Telegram Bot API is up to for a number of reasons. Almost a year ago (on the 21th of April to be precise), they released update 6.7 which introduced the ability for bots to send custom emojis. However, a bot needs to be assigned an additional upgraded username from Fragment in order to do this (which costs ~5k USD from fragment directly, or you can ofc try to ask some owner of one of these upgraded usernames if they are willing to sell it to you for less).

Fragment is Telegrams marketplace to bid on usernames. They utilize the TON, a blockchain technology initially developed by Telegram. This (and free APIs built on top of it, in particular the TON API) allowed me to check all transactions to Fragment and filter those for upgrading a username in ~30 lines of python code, so I was able to collect all upgraded usernames bought this way. This ofc does not stop Telegram from making exceptions to this, if they feel like it, so don't consider this list exclusive.

The high price for an upgrade (if you did not buy a lot of TON when it was less valuable ofc) and only getting the ability to send custom emojis in return led me to believe we would not have more then 50 upgraded usernames. I was wrong, there are 139 overall. And without further ado, here they are, in reversed chronological order:
