#canadayear - the end
I made it home, safely. laying in my new isolated bed. Thank you all so much for reading my weekly posts. We are going back now to the old topic, which would be my thoughts on stuff, so probably a lot programming related (I have some posts planned yay).
For now, enjoy these pictures.

About two weeks ago, a friend in a common group brought up the topic Pi-hole. This software blocks queries on an DNS level, which is better then your go-to browser ad blocker since the ads aren't even loaded (and then blocked). It also means that the ads in any application are blocked, which you normally see in your free to use apps or smart TVs (these things are evil anyway).
I already tried it out a couple of years ago, but then my father faced an issue with his IPads where it wasn't possible to update anything anymore. Since some time has passed, I decided to try it out again and spend the afternoon installing an up to date Raspberry OS on my raspberry.
Because of the past experience I had with it, I decided to enable full query logging for now. If there are no complains, I will improve the privacy in that regard.

I just realized PyCharm has a built-in webserver so now I can open the HTML files I generate for the python-telegram-bot docs with that. Instead of just opening them as files with my browser. How cool is that...

Back in Canada, I broke my phone. Basically like this, just on the other edge. I decided to replace that glass.
