#canadayear - week 14
What a week. It was pretty uneventful until Friday. I just searched and applied for jobs all over the place. I ended up in a job fair from cabelas, an outdoor shop. If they end up hiring me, I will work there till after Christmas. That happened on Thursday.
So I sat there, Thursday evening, and had a long weekend (next Monday is public holiday) coming. I wouldn't want to apply anywhere else since they will probably take me. So I decided to spend the weekend on Pender island, back on my first farm. I planned the trip there overnight, somehow got there in as short as 4 hours (divided between two ferry rides in such foggy environment that they blew their horn every minute I), had a blast being back on the farm and we ended the evening with a theatre visit. The local group played God of Carnage, and they did a really good job. Like, really really good. They switched between humorous and really serious moments in instances.

Sooo. I had a long day. I stayed at pender island for roughly a week, came back today. My first day at work will be tomorrow, a whole day just training. Nothing too interesting happens on the farm, we moved a trailer, did some minor projects. I met a very friendly Italian woofer there.
Welp. Lets see how my work will be.

Saturday: We had the whole day training, starting from 8 and ending at 6 or so. We learned a lot theory, about the company, values, how to use/do general stuff. A lot for a day
Sunday: I had the day off. I spend it... Uhm. Somehow. Probably did a walk
Monday: first actual work day, I was trained at customer service. Its a very nice and professional environment
Tuesday: again, day off. I watched the mandalorian, nice series.
Wednesday: next work day, actually working this time.
Thursday: relaxing, not working, a nice hike along the coastline. We cooked some lasagne in the hostel, and I learned that one of the guys here worked on a star wars movie.
Friday: Workday incoming.
