Why did he decide to come to our country?
✓ What made a lasting impression on him in St. Petersburg?

Polytech at Pulkovo

The Polytechnic University has opened an exhibition at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg. The exhibition is dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the university.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to learn about the most important milestones in the history of our country through the prism of discoveries of Polytechnic scientists and engineers.

12 posters with visual and textual information are dedicated to inventions, projects and events in which Polytechnic scientists were the first:
🔺 heavy-duty plasmatron,
🔺 diesel-electric submarine,
🔺 Т-34,
🔺 human space flight,
🔺 mass television,
🔺 the construction team.

Behind each discovery are unique scientists, designers and inventors, of whom Polytechnic is proud. These are Mikhail Koshkin, Igor Kurchatov, Mark Gallai, Ivan Bubnov, Mikhail Shatelen and others.
