Today is an important day that we celebrate around the world - International Thank You Day. It's a day where we take the time to express our gratitude and appreciation for the people and things in our lives that we often take for granted. ❤️
As a university, we are grateful for all of our international students who have chosen to study with us. Your presence on campus enriches our community and brings diversity to our classrooms. We appreciate your hard work and dedication to your studies, and we are proud of all that you have accomplished so far.
We also want to thank our faculty and staff who work tirelessly to support our international students. From providing academic guidance to offering cultural programming, they are committed to ensuring your success and well-being while you are here.
Thank you for being a part of our university community, and we wish you all the best in your academic and personal pursuits.
And how will "thank you" be in your language?

Why do they celebrate New Year's Eve twice in Russia? 👀
Old New Year is one of the most favorite holidays in Russia, which is celebrated on January 13. This holiday has its own history and interesting traditions that are passed down from generation to generation.
The history of the Old New Year in Russia began back in 1699. Peter the Great changed the calendar to the Gregorian calendar, which began to be used in Europe. However, Orthodox Christians continued to celebrate the New Year according to the Julian calendar, which lagged behind the Gregorian calendar by 13 days. Thus, January 13 became an additional day for celebrating the New Year.
Also on this day it is customary to decorate the Christmas tree and arrange various entertainments. In some Russian cities, festive processions and festivals are held.
