There are a lot of newcomers, so let us tell you some useful information about studying, university, programs, student life, etc.

The academic year in Russia starts on September 1 and lasts until the end of June.

It is divided into two semesters:

📍Fall (from September 1 to the end of January),
📍Spring (from mid-February to the end of June).

Sessions usually take place at the end of each semester. The exact dates may vary depending on your institute and program.

Students get vacations twice a year:

📍In winter (usually from the end of January to mid-February)
📍In summer (usually from July to August)

For more accurate information about the schedule of classes, session and vacation dates, we recommend checking the official website of the university or contacting your dean's office. ✏️
