📍برگزاری دوره آشنایی با تب دانگ توسط سازمان جهانی بهداشت

تب دانگ یک عفونت ویروسی است که توسط ویروس دنگی ایجاد می شود و از طریق نیش پشه های آلوده به انسان منتقل می شود. تخمین زده می شود که سالانه ۱۰۰ تا ۴۰۰ میلیون عفونت به واسطه ی این ویروس رخ می دهد. این دوره یک نمای کلی از ارگانیسم عامل بیماری، ناقل، انتقال، علائم، تشخیص، درمان و پیشگیری از بیماری را ارائه می دهد.
مدت دوره ۳۰ دقیقه بوده و گواهینامه برای شرکت کنندگانی که حداقل ۸۰ درصد از کل امتیازهای موجود در ارزیابی نهایی را کسب کنند صادر می گردد.

📚 راهنمای فنی مراقبت تب دانگ پیشبینی، تشخیص و پاسخ به طغیان

این راهنما، نشریه مشترک سازمان جهانی بهداشت و برنامه ویژه تحقیقات و آموزش در بیماری های گرمسیری است. با توجه به اهمیت روز افزون تب دانگ در بهداشت، این بیماری در سال ۱۹۹۹ در مجموعه برنامه های ویژه تحقیقات و آموزش در بیماری های گرمسیری که در سازمان جهانی بهداشت مستقر است گنجانده شد.

اهداف کتاب مراقبت و پاسخ به طغیان تب دانگ شامل موارد زیر است: 
💥توسعه و استفاده از سیستم های هشدار و پاسخ زود هنگام. 
💥محرک هایی که موجب پاسخ موثر به اپیدمی های ابتدایی می شوند. 
💥عواملی که منجر به موفقیت و شکست د ر برنامه ملی می شوند
💥 تجزیه وتحلیل زمینه مراقبت و مدیریت طغیان بیماری.

As I have said many times, investments in health and in UHC [ Universal Health Coverage] should not be seen as a cost, but as an investment in healthy, productive and resilient societies.

Fundamentally, UHC is a political choice.

But it’s a choice that must be translated into budgetary action.

At the UN General Assembly last year, world leaders committed to investing in primary health care as the foundation of UHC.

They also committed to investing in health promotion and disease prevention, education and training, and the health and care workforce.

Creating a healthy society is a group effort that cannot happen without the concentrated efforts of community and national key players. There is no health (policy) without the support of political action. Likewise, health-related problems, whether global pandemics or local health inequities are major driving factors for new policies. The timing has never been more pressing to put health on the priority list of all (future) stakeholders.

How can we ensure health will be placed on all political agendas? How can we engage the community? Do we listen enough to health workers? Should we do more to assess the impact of crisis and peace on health?

▪️۱۰سال پیش، در چنین روزی، دکتر شمس شریعت تربقان درگذشت. او استاد دانشکدهٔ پزشکی تهران و رئیس موزهٔ ملی تاریخ پزشکی بود. یادش جاودان.

Rudolf Virchow as a pioneer of both biomedicine and social medicine

Rudolf Virchow, the German pathologist, public health pioneer and politician, was born 200 years ago on October 13, 1821. In view of the current pandemics of infectious and non-communicable diseases, it appears fitting to briefly review Virchow’s contributions to both biomedicine and social medicine.

Virchow recognised that the social factors influencing health are politically determined, and political action may be needed to improve them. The far-reaching implications of today’s pandemics require political action concerning disease prevention and health promotion beyond the health sector. Governments therefore carry a social responsibility to tackle inequalities, environmental damage, obesogenic environments and socially-determined unhealthy lifestyle factors.
