On Monday Poland passed an emergency powers bill in preparation for koronavirus. Powers range from being able to mandate maximum prices on certain goods to quarantining local areas.
Law will also side step procurement and construction regulations

All schools are closing in Poland. Elementary to university. Theaters, cinemas, museums etc all closed as of today. All large public events banned. Political events will not have IRL public participation.

Coronavirus emergency measures announced yesterday:
- Polish borders are closed to foreigners. Returning Poles might face quarantine for 14 days. Effectively unilateral withdrawal from Schengen agreement.
- all international flights suspended starting tommorow
- shopping malls restricted to groceries, pharmacies, and health/beauty
- Pubs closed, restaurants restricted to take out only
- public and private events restricted to a max of 50 people

If you are a foreigner stuck in Poland your best option to leave is to rent a car and drive to Germany, or take train to western city and walk across border. Please do so.
Many churches in Poland are not letting people in. The Archbishop of Warsaw has given a disposition of attending holy mass.
