Weekly Trading Report & Market Context
Together with this week’s trading report, we would like to provide some additional context regarding the current market environment and our recent performance.
Our trading strategy is not based on simply buying and selling crypto assets according to the general direction of the market. It is designed to identify and use opportunities created by market volatility, trading activity, price fluctuations, and changing market conditions across the broader crypto market.
This means that rising crypto asset prices do not automatically result in higher profits for our strategy. At the same time, falling prices do not automatically mean that we are generating losses.
As the history of Polar Tensor has repeatedly shown, our performance is not directly tied to the overall direction of the crypto market. This independence has proven especially valuable during periods of declining prices, market corrections, and broader uncertainty.
Over the past few weeks, several major crypto assets have increased in value. However, because our strategy does not simply follow general market movements, our results cannot be directly compared with the performance of buying and holding individual crypto assets.
The main reason for the currently lower profitability is the significant reduction in overall crypto market trading volume.
Compared to before, market volume declined by approximately 40%, and during certain periods, compared with peak periods in 2025, by as much as 70%. Lower market activity creates fewer suitable trading opportunities and therefore temporarily affects overall performance.
Trading volume is now beginning to recover. As market activity and volatility continue to return, we expect the number and quality of available trading opportunities to improve accordingly.
We remain confident that performance will gradually move back toward our usual average as market conditions normalize.
