Token economics planning🔕🔕🔇🔇🔥🔥

For clarity we provide our latest thinking on current planning around bridging, token unification and potential fund raising round. This adds further substance to our pinned IT Roadmap.


Current token economy design:

Currently, we have two independent Polar tokens, one on bsc and one on polygon. The supernova service is available on both blockchains. So the demand and supply dynamics are different depending on uptake of supernovas on each blockchain.


Initial bridge:

We plan to introduce a simple bridge to transfer/trade between the Polar token on BSC and polygon.


Unifying token:

We also plan to introduce a unifying Polaris token on ethereum once eth2.0 is implemented, which will require a change to underlying token economics to accommodate, while maintaining the current supply across all blockchains at 100m less burn.

Unifying the Polar tokens can be done while maintaining the 100m circulating supply of tokens across all three blockchains. This will involve introducing 100m locked Polaris tokens on Ethereum which can only be unlocked by bridging existing Polar tokens from BSC and/or Polygon. But using this same logic we may need to introduce another 50m locked tokens into BSC and Polygon to accommodate bridging the tokens between each of the blockchains. So the next effect will remain 100m tokens unlocked circulating supply across the three blockchains at any one time.

This design would require a decentralised trustless solution.

Potential fund raising:

Separately from this, we may decide to introduce a funding round alongside our launch on Ethereum. This will only be done if we believe that the extra resources will increase value of Polaris compared to the resulting dilution.

Quick update as I am on holidays this week. Polaris is progressing well.

We kicked off our sales effort last week including 12 introductions which resulted in 6 proposals.

We also considerably increased our liquidity depth/value and breadth. Liquidity is critical for attracting more investors, traders and users to a projects token. Its also what Polaris specialise in. So well done community.

We also experimented with one of croxswap liquidity farms for 30 days to introduce Polaris to their community. This has had successfully attracted liquidity.

IT is progressing well with aim to have a bridge between bsc and polygon, possibly this week.

Also IT transition is 95% complete, with our new team completing a mini IT project to complete transition.

Unfortunately our price has weakened despite the progress made on our Project. But new crypto project prices are notoriously volatile and uncertain especially over the short term.

Our main short term focus is building sales pipeline and converting to new supernovas.

Also progressing IT.

Polaris strategy is to wait because when commercialising new technology, timing is critical.

We are placing fund raising and investment on hold for 12 months because we believe that Polaris is ahead of the market and we need to wait for paying customers or users to catch up with the latest and emerging DeFi innovations.

I remain a firm believer in the future of Polaris, liquidity farming, DeFi, cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology.

As a fellow Polar token owner I believe that this is our best strategy forward. Our proposition is currently too risky for investors, to fund IT, compliance and marketing. The business case is too risky. However, once real crypto project customers / users enter our market, this will change.

📌 Since our last Apr-22 Supernova Fees update, Polaris has earned fees of 745k Polar from supernova multipliers and harvests. 109k of these have been burned and Polaris has retained the remaining Polar in its Treasury.

📌 Our Polar-USD LP supernovas continue to run and reward liquidity providers with 48% yield on BSC and 88% on Polygon before applying multipliers.
