The lesson Qatar can learn from the United Arab Emirates is this: Countries that don’t harbor the leaders of a terrorist organization responsible for massacring and kidnapping civilians don’t have to worry about being attacked. Qatar should learn from the UAE: stop bribing the world and buying influence—start investing in technology and the well-being of your people.
