Introducing BirrJS
A TypeScript billing engine for the Ethiopian market. Payment gateways here only handle one-time payments, so there's no built-in support for subscriptions, entitlements, or reminders.
BirrJS fills that gap with a subscription lifecycle engine that handles plans, feature gating, usage tracking, expiry and reminders, and easy payment provider integration.

I was tasked with building a Pomodoro app, just a timer that toggles between 25 minutes of work and 5 minutes of break as a starter project for my internship.
It was meant to be a straightforward exercise, but as I started writing the core logic, I realized the potential behind tracking focus data. Instead of stopping at a simple clock, decided to make it a fully functional productivity tool, I added:
๐น Deep-Work Analytics: A dashboard that tracks daily streaks, weekly focus trends.
๐น Session Ledger & History: A persistent audit log that tracks completion ratios, success rates, and allows users to manually log offline focus time.
๐น Cross-Device Syncing: A secure Node/Express API that ensures user preferences, and session data are saved and accessible anywhere.
check it out and let me know any feedback

CodeLore V0 is outttt ๐ฅ
Hey everyone ๐
I've been working on something called CodeLore, and v0 is finally out ๐
CodeLore is a place where programming concepts are explained using stories, chaos, and weird analogies so they're easier to understand and remember.
You can:
โ Read lores from the community
โ Write and publish your own
โ like the good ones
โ Search by topic or tag
โ Share them anywhere
โ Install it as a mobile app
Built with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Framer Motion, and Supabase.
Honestly, this started as a personal project to store the creative analogies I come up with while learning.
Later, I thought it would be cool to make it available for others who want a place to save and share their own explanations.
If you're someone who likes getting creative while learning, give it a try ๐
https://code-lore-flax.vercel.app/
I'd be happy to hear your feedback and suggestions ๐

Introducing THE ETHIOPIC MICROGRAPHICS TREND
Ethiopia has many different cultures. Within these cultures, we have unique clothing, architecture, language, music, and so much more. I was trying to use some of the micro-graphic elements I saw on Pinterest, but why do that when there is a ton of inspiration sitting and waiting for us right here? Think of your motherโs kemis tilet, your brotherโs korki game,๐ our countryโs architecture, and so many other endless things.
I designed some of the ideas from my mind in the way I see my country. You might be a designer too, so why donโt we make this a trend? A trend that builds a collection of MICRO-DETAILS, making any design look aesthetic and ETHIOPIC. Not only that, but this is also a creative and smart way to display formal elements.
Iโll be creating more on this, and if youโre a designer, speak through your design and letโs make this universal gang
Sharing helps, btw ๐
