1/ The original one is a painting by Peter Paul Rubens that is housed in the National Gallery in London. It was most likely created between 1622 and 1625.

2/ The subject of the picture has not been positively identified, however she might be Susanna Lunden, Rubens' eventual second wife Helena Fourment's elder sister.

3/ If the identification is right, the image was most likely created around the time Susanna married her second husband, Arnold Lunden, in 1622.

The ring on her finger might indicate that the artwork is a wedding portrait.
