Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman brought a glimmer of hope to Indians that the government is ready to allow a "window" for experimentation with Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrencies. This could be a chance to use crypto while the government deals with crypto regulations. Indian officials support the use of blockchain technology, but the use and ownership of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin is currently under regulatory checks.
