Valentin Köpfli - Redaktor News - Im Gebiet Gocht bei Walenstadt SG kam es am Sonntag zu einem tödlichen Bergunfall. Ein junger Berggänger stürzte in unwegsamen Gelände ab.
Gemäss Kantonspolizei St. Gallen ist ein Wanderer bei Walenstadt tödlich verunglückt. Der Mann (†28) war gegen 17 Uhr in Begleitung einer Frau (26) auf dem Gochtweg oberhalb von Quinten auf dem Abstieg. Dabei stürzte der vorausgehende Mann im unwegsamen Gelände ab und fiel in die Tiefe, schildert die Polizei den Unfall. Nachdem seine Begleiterin einen Notruf abgesetzt hatte, führte die Rega einen sofortigen Suchflug in der Umgebung durch. Die Rettungskräfte konnten den Mann unterhalb der Absturzstelle jedoch nur noch tot bergen.
Im Einsatz stand die Rega mit einem Rettungsspezialisten der Alpinen Rettung Glarus sowie die Alpine Einsatzgruppe der Kantonspolizei St. Gallen.

The footage from the gym showed that Singhai took dumbles from one corner and took them along and put them on the other side, few seconds after he stood up he suddenly collapsed on the ground while he had just started doing his exercise."
