We fall in love with foreign stuffs, but we love something familiar

Tears aren't necessary for you to cry.

And I remember when the weight of sadness became too much to bear, the living room transformed into a haven. Blankets became walls, furniture became fortresses, and within those makeshift tents or the cramped confines of a cabinet(my fav spot as my mom says), I could disappear, cocooned in a world of my own making, until the storm within subsided. I would pray for the rain to come to get drenched while I had an umbrella in my bag. I remember taking the longer route to school. Faking my sleep to be carried to bed,waving at aeroplanes and wonder if I will ever be the same after I turned 18
