Have you ever been in a 'I should get it out before it dissolves and becomes a part of who i am' kinda situation

someone in my mind keeps tapping me on my shoulder, reminding me of the fact that i'm overstaying past the point where i'm welcome so many times recently, and i don't even know what she means. i'm not staying anywhere, i barely breathe in my own body.

I can't be held responsible for the fact that I prefer the company of people who appreciate my crippling social anxiety, my borderline obsessive love of cats, and my uncanny ability to quote entire episodes of 'The Office' from memory.
Besides, who's to say that my 'own kind' isn't diverse? We come in all shapes, sizes, and levels of awkwardness. We have different favorite authors, different preferred brands of instant coffee, and wildly varying opinions on the merits of Crocs. Just because i surround myself with a group of like-minded ppl you call me racists? What's next?

I'm not saying we have to be constantly screaming and crying and throwing dishes at the wall (although, let's be honest, that does sound kind of fun). I'm just saying that I need someone who's willing to feel things, dammit. Someone who can get genuinely upset when their favorite coffee shop is out of oat milk, someone who can dramatically declare their undying love for a particularly delicious slice of pizza, someone who can weep openly at the end of a cheesy rom-com.
If you're the kind of person who responds to emotional crises with a calm, rational demeanor, then we are fundamentally incompatible. I need someone who's going to run around and scream, what the heck are we gonna do, the end is near.
Thatβs romantic to me.
Give me drama, or give me death
