One question, tbh, I'm out of ideas bc google doesn't implement new features that aren't ai (and the Gemini ones are a pain and don't really work), so tell me what other things do u want to see in the module??

Okay, so for now the bug list is small, only the no vk version asking for volume buttons (know the fix) and still bootloops on some devices??? (Idfk why)

Just fyi, bc I think it's important, google deactivated EMERGENCY calling if u have root, the phone bootloops if u try to call emergency services, idk if it happened to more people apart from a reddit deleted and me, but be careful

Btw, I found the error, it was that a drm library in the recorder app (wth is there a drm lib on the recorder I want to know) was crashring when some connection triggered it, like calling emergency or using adb wireless, deactivating it or deleting it won't work bc it's PRIV app, so the only solution is to update to CP31.260623.005 where this issue it's fixed

They did an article!!

On bootloader unlocked Google Pixel devices, Google restricts users from using Custom icons feature in the Pixel Launcher.

In a recent update, they have added a clear warning when it can't download app icons - The device doesn't meet security requirements. A warning which many Google Wallet users might have been familiar with on rooted devices.

Google already restricts various other AI features on Pixel devices with unlocked bootloader.

New soft-root tools dropped !

Two interesting projects using the same public kernel vuln for temporary root (no bootloader unlock):

- Root My Galaxy (Samsung)
- Root My Pixel (Pixel devices)

Both give temporary KernelSU / ReSukiSU root on supported firmware. Root is lost after reboot and only works on specific builds for now.

Worth keeping an eye on if you’re on a supported device.
