STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO COLD STAKING
"Cold staking" is a new feature implemented in the upcoming version 4.0 of the core client/wallet. It requires two PIVX wallets: one to hold the funds (this can be also a hardware wallet and does not need to be always online) and another one, the hot-node, to do the staking (this needs to be online 24/7).
The rewards will always go to the staked (external) address, the one holding the funds.

As usual, you can download it from Github or from the main PIVX site.
To reiterate, this is not a mandatory update but recommended and it includes some bug fixes, performance improvements and some updated translations.
