Ничего не можемъ съ собой поделать, любимъ сегодняшнего именинника всей душой! Не какъ памятникъ, не какъ солнце и классика. А какъ смелого, пылкого, страстного человека съ живымъ умомъ, богатейшимъ воображениемъ и невероятной продуктивностью.

Одна изъ зрительницъ предостерегала насъ: «не надо копировать Пушкина». Но не вняли мы мольбамъ, все трое по очереди и безъ разбору играли поэта и сыграемъ съ радостью ещё. Ибо мы не копируемъ, а съ восторгомъ прикасаемся къ великому баловню и хулигану. Съ днёмъ рождения, Александръ Сергеевичъ! Виватъ!

We cannot help loving today’s birthday man with all our hearts! Not as a monument or a “sun” or a classic author. But as a brave, ardent, passionate person, lively-minded, richly imaginative and incredibly productive.

One of our spectators once warned us: “never mimic Pushkin”. But we did not heed the pleas, and all the three of us took turns and indiscriminately portrayed the poet and will do it gladly again. For we do not mimic, but get closer to this great darling and hotshot with much delight. Happy birthday, Alexander Sergeevich! Vivat!
