А на десертъ собрали для васъ сладчайшие сливки съ летнего литературного цикла по «Дубровскому» Александра Сергеевича Пушкина.

Не серчайте, коли не отыщете въ подборке кого-то изъ своихъ фаворитовъ. Мы уделили внимание каждому изъ персонажей незаконченного романа. Приятного аппетита!

“Piterville” video restaurant is open all year round. We do our best to please ladies and gentlemen with not only high-quality dishes, but with a variety of them as well.

For example, this week our main course is classical, frolic videos picturing nobles and peasants. Our second course is the novel idea of Piterville Oscar’s. And the dessert is made of the sweetest cream collected for you from the summer literary cycle dedicated to “Dubrovsky” by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin.

Don’t get angry if you cannot see some of your favourites in this selection. We aimed at paying attention to each character of this unfinished novel. Bon appétit!

Отшелестелъ заморский Оскаръ своими результатами. Одни зрители согласны съ распределениемъ статуэтокъ, иные недовольны. Ну а намъ какая печаль? Ведь есть у насъ свой, прозрачный, где всё решали ваши голоса.

The overseas Oscar ceremony has rustled around with its results. Some viewers agree with the distribution of the statuettes, others are dissatisfied. Well, why worry about that? After all, we have our own transparent ceremony, where only your votes were decisive.

We sincerely thank all who took the time and mental strength and walked this distance with us. It is time to uncork champagne bottles or go make tea and coffee. Today on March 12 at 9 PM Moscow time we are going live on Piterville YouTube channel in order to discuss the newly conceived award and announce the winners in all nominations in a solemn atmosphere. We are looking forward to see you and your comments there!

Heading to the soiree at mother-in-law’s and then straight to the party at sister-in-law’s

Maslenitsa, also known as the Cheese Week in Christian tradition, is a week-long festival preceeding the Orthodox Lent and dating back to pre-Christian times. Symbolically welcomes springtime and is best known for the tradition of making pancakes throughout the week and having fun outside as well as visiting friends and relatives. Finishes with the ritual bonfire where the effigy of Winter, “Maslenitsa”, is burnt to the cheers of the crowd.

Each day of the week has its special name:
Monday — «Welcome»
Tuesday — «Fun»
Wednesday — «Sweet tooth»
Thursday — «Spree»
Friday — «Soiree at mother-in-law’s»
Saturday — «Party at sister-in-law’s»
Sunday — «Sunday of forgiveness»

Благодаря вашимъ активности, вовлечённости и вниманию состоялся первый въ истории Питервилльский Оскаръ, и была проведена въ прямомъ эфире церемония вручения статуэтокъ (въ шутку мы кличемъ ихъ Золотой Максимъ из-за шикарныхъ усовъ, какъ у Горького).

Dear Sirs and Madams, we would like to congratulate you and bow our compliments! Thanks to your participation, engagement and involvement, the first ever Piterville Oscar has taken place and the statuette award ceremony has been streamed live (as a joke, we call the statuette “Golden Maksim” because of the likeness of its gorgeous mustache to that of Maksim Gorky).
