As announced by Komodo, the annual notary election fork is scheduled for July 15th, 2019 at Komodo block 1444000.

This latest versions of Agama and Pirate Ocean V2 have all of the changes needed to have a smooth experience when it happens also for ARRR Pirate Chain Holdings as the code includes the new notaries.

It also includes a number of UI Improvements and bug fixes.

Some things we would really like to focus on over the next 8 weeks is user experience.

We want to make things simple, easy and attractive.

This includes shops and users. The less friction to onboard, the more adoption we will have.

We are taking steps to actively seek new shops to accept Pirate.

We will have our public Television piece air in about 3 months time and would love for us to be at least preteen friendly, if not grandma friendly.

Oh, Im newish to crypto, how do I get Pirate

• We would love to have a simple guide or two/three step process on this.

- New or amended wallet guides. Feel free to copy paste the one we did or other guides.

- A QT/crypto wallet FAQ, something that can answer all the simple questions easy and a repo of all the z address commands to help users solve issues.

We will DEFINITELY need this as the full nodes start rolling out.

• Did we ever make a page on Pirate.black for media? Let's get the media kit also on there somewhere.

We have been bending over backwards in helping CryptoBridge by putting in one on one time over and again (kudos to Mr Lynch) in order to help them to get their ARRR wallets in order which in turn will enable them to give them Pirate CryptoBridge Users their ARRRs funds back.

Its August already and i guess it’s time for some updates on Exchanges as we do not want to let you stay in the dark on this.

We have been busy as a team and arrr making progress with the Exchanges. Period.

Please don’t think that we as a team arrr neglecting any of them (whoever says such a thing is simply fudding for whatever motivation. Please do not support and/or spread any fud/hearsay in any way as some people arrr easily lean towards short-fused assumptions and the spreading of half-truths), but some of the exchanges are truly slow to catch on or catch up with what they need to do ...

At least a lot slower than our trusted exchanges Digitalprice and TradeOgre, who have shown for quite awhile now that ARRR can be handled, despite of being this kinda zk-snarks beast which it is. Kudos and Thank you guys.

Cryptobridge is still at work as they have been in on a steep learning curve. We have truly done everything we can to educate them (Thank you Mr. Lynch for that!) and arrr still in regular contact with them. The matter is still in their hands what to make out of what we have given and shown them. So we need to wait still, sorry to say.

Also we have seen that their support seems to be sub-optimal to say the least and they have fallen quite far from their original CMC Top20 ranking. On the bright side:
Our CMC Top10 exchange (which has approached us for a listing and still wanted us since we have confronted them with our new “no-pay-for-listings”-policy) has told us that they will be able to implement us in a little while as they have recently received our tech-instructions on how to implement. And they seem to understand what they arrr doing... 🥳

So don’t be fooled by the looks of things .. These arrr turning towards the bright side for ARRR as we approach Pirates 1st year anniversary

Pirates Week festival is an annual festival about all things Pirate held in November in the Cayman Islands. And we ARRR gonna be there this year and building AwARRRness for the first time (maybe not the last time 😉)
