2 days of ios 26 review:

- liquid ass is technologically impressive, but not too life changing
+ AutoMix in Apple Music is literally life changing and i see myself using this every single day

btw if you didnt know they copied circle to search

lol i have just sent a bug report to apple regarding iphone mirroring on my iphone, and it starts to collect diagnostic data on my mac

i personally think its pretty cool 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

a revised update for 15 and 16 series was pushed today, and it completely fixed lags and battery drain lol

the fall was like at least 5 meters

i did something ($85 very cheap iPhone SE 2020 128GB)

i also did something (install iOS 26 beta)

26 Dev Beta 1 on the weakest supported hardware is not as bad as i expected

it feels somewhat better than my 15 Pro on the first “broken” beta lol

Beta 2 is out, so far very snappy

first time in forever apple has a $800 phone (base model 17) thats on par or better than its competitors

stuff that are better (compared to S25, P10, NP3)
+ 120hz LTPO screen with 1hz minimum and 3000 nits WITH anti reflective coating
+ A19
+ 48mp cameras with 24mp binned photos as default & 18mp square front camera
+ 256gb base storage
+ Qi2

stuff thats on par:
+ somewhere between 40-60w charging
+ 8gb of ram

stuff thats worse:
- 3600 mah battery
- no telephoto (only 2x lossless crop of main sensor)
- camera control
- apple intelligence

overall, its probably the best deal from apple this year
