Still, i don’t think they need a “flag”. Support could be shown without them(Pronouns).
This is just narcissistic. wanting to have an in on everything.
people who already have all the representation they need, being unable to comprehend that there’s a little corner of the world that they’re not part of, and just trying to force themselves in, in a way that doesn’t look too bad(like the superstraight folks and their flag, it’s two sides of the same coin really.)either.
It’s disingenuous and self involved.
Like i know that deep down this is just straight people being sad that they don’t have a flag or whatever.
The purpose of the flag as far as i know and i might be wrong is to communicate to other queer people that you’re one of them, and to show pride in something that is shamed and condemned. I think cishet people really don’t need a flag, and its a little bit disrespectful too even, just wanting a flag and making one up bc you like having a colorful flag i guess, reducing the meaning and symbolism to it. It’s like… how do i say it? Straight appropriation? Like a form of cultural appropriation where the culture is the international culture that queer people have built through centuries.

داشتم اخبار می‌خوندم و دیدم که مدارس راهنمایی و دبیرستان دخترانه که امروز قرار بود توی افغانستان بازگشایی بشن (از آگست که طالبان قدرت گرفت تا الان فقط دبستان‌های دخترانه باز بودن) ولی طالبان لحظه‌ی آخر گفته نه و بچه‌ها رو برگردونده خونه. دلیلش؟ حجاب بچه‌ها "مناسب" نبوده!
