6.1 Refraction of Light
-> Due to change in velocity of light when it is traveling through the medium of different optical densities.
6.2 Total Internal Reflection
-> Reflection of light rays at the border of two mediums when the angle of incidence, i in an optically denser medium is greater than the critical angle, c.
Critical angle, c :
-> angle of incidence in the medium of high optical density when the angle of refraction in the medium of lower optical density is equal to 90°.
The higher the refractive index, the smaller the critical angle.
