[JUL 10 - Moonshot update + DCA orders]

1️⃣Moonshot tokens - NOW available for trading on Photon

You can now use the new filter on Memescope to show Moonshot tokens to quickly find them and start trading.

To see them on the New Pairs/Trending pages, make sure to go to Filters then select Moonshot

IMPORTANT NOTE: Moonshot tokens add slippage on top of your buy amount. This is how the Moonshot team has set up their program, so we want to make sure that everyone was aware of this since this is different than how slippage works for other tokens.

Eg. If you buy 1 SOL of $ABC with 20% slippage, up to 1.2 SOL may be deducted from your balance if max slippage is reached (1 SOL for the buy + 0.2 SOL for the 20% slippage) to receive your token amount. Through testing we have rarely seen max slippage used for any transaction

Note from the Moonshot team: MKTCAP for Moonshot tokens is calculated as follows: (Price/token x supply) x 0.55.

Post-migration to Raydium, MKTCAP will just be: (Price/token x Supply)

2️⃣DCA - the easiest way for you to set multiple buy/sell orders in seconds

To access: click on the Orders tab (accessible from any token page) to use DCA

[JULY 16 UPDATES - SNIPERS/INSIDER TXNS + BUBBLEMAPS]

1️⃣You can now quickly spot dev/insiders/snipers transactions right on the chart. Use the Other Trades drop-down menu (to the right of Show My Trades) to select Dev, Sniper and/or Insider trades to make them appear on your charts

*Please note that this is for all newly created tokens moving forward

Insider wallets are classified as such when:
-they receive tokens in the first txn along with other wallets (1st degree)
-they receive tokens (transfer) from the dev wallet (1st degree)
-they receive tokens from another wallet that received a transfer from the first txn or dev wallet (2nd degree)

2️⃣Bubblemaps integration – our engineers have been working with the Bubblemaps team to bring you EVEN MORE data to visualize wallet relationships and better understand token distribution

You can now access it in the new tab (to the right of the Holders tab) across all tokens

3️⃣New filter for Memescope - Sniper Filter
If you wish to see tokens bought ONLY by the dev in the first block, enter 1 to 1 in the By Snipers field

[JULY 31 UPDATES - NEW TXN FILTERING OPTIONS]

Just released new ways for you to sort and filter through transactions. DYOR by looking through thousands of txns takes too long and we want to help make your token research experience even more efficient.

When you browse to the transaction tab of any token page, you'll see new options for you to quickly filter out the noise.

1️⃣ Filter by txn type (buy/sell/add/remove)
2️⃣ Filter by txn size (by token/SOL)
3️⃣ Look up specific wallets, wallet history and the wallet's PnL for a specific token

Last but not least, we also increased the watchlist from 5 to 10!

[SEP 12 UPDATES – PHO[TRON]]

Our engineers have been working closely with the TRON team to bring you the best trading experience on the TRX chain. Starting today, you can now trade TRX tokens on Photon.

Get started here - https://photon-tron.tinyastro.io/ (please make sure that you have TronLink wallet ready for the sign-up process)

A few things to note before trading on TRON:

1️⃣ Setting up your Photon TRON account

SCENARIO 1 - If you're already logged into Photon on ETH and you've already went to https://photon-tron.tinyastro.io/ then this means that your TRON main (withdrawal) wallet is linked to your ETH main (withdrawal) wallet

You can check this by going to: https://tronscan.org/#/tools/code-converter/tron-ethereum-address and you'll be able to take the TRON wallet address and convert it into the ETH address

Also, you'll see that you will already have a Photon trading wallet for TRON. The private key to your Photon trading wallet on TRON is the same as your Photon trading wallet on ETH. So as long as you have the private key for your ETH Photon trading wallet, you'll be able to import it into TronLink and have access to your TRON trading wallet through the TronLink app/extension.

SCENARIO 2 - If you do not have an existing Photon ETH account, head to https://photon-tron.tinyastro.io/ and follow the steps to create your Photon TRON account

2️⃣ In order to sell any TRX token, you will need to approve it for selling. Photon does this for you automatically if you have it checked under your settings. Please note, if you buy a Sunpump token and it successfully graduates to Sunswap, you will need to approve it for selling again as it now has a completely new router contract address. Photon will also do this for you if you have it checked under your settings - https://photon-tron.tinyastro.io/en/settings?tab_id=3

3️⃣ Approving your token for selling will also require TRX, which will be deducted from your wallet balance

4️⃣ We will auto-approve selling of your Sunpump token during migration to ensure that you can sell on SunSwap as soon as the token is migrated IF you have it checked within your settings. If you don’t have enough TRX in your wallet balance for the approval transaction during migration, the approval will fail and you won’t be able to sell.

5️⃣ Withdrawing to your main wallet on TRON: import the private key of your ETH main wallet to the TronLink wallet extension.

When you use the withdraw option, you'll see the withdrawn amount show up in your TRON main wallet on TronLink

Our engineering team has just rolled out a lot of new updates on ETH. A BIG thank you to everyone in the Photon lounge who have been providing us with helpful feedback on the key features they need to improve their trading experience. Here's a quick run-down of all the new features you'll see on ETH + BASE

1️⃣Ethervista support – you can now trade Ethervista tokens on Photon

2️⃣Support for Dojo tokens on Base

3️⃣Dev Trades – ability to see buy and sell transactions from the token dev right on the chart

4️⃣Average price line – after you buy into a token, you’ll be able to see your average price line right on the chart

5️⃣Holders counter – on the Holders tab, you can now see the holders count in real-time

PLEASE NOTE: the top holders tab across some token pairs may be blank temporarily while we're updating data

6️⃣Transaction filters – you can now filter transactions by type, min/max value in USD/tokens/ETH, and also look up transactions done by specific wallets

7️⃣Wallet P&L – ability to click on the shrimp/fish/whale icon beside wallets addresses in the Makers column and see their P&L for a particular token and how much of the supply they hold

8️⃣Transactions tab update - new icons to represent amount of tokens traded by different wallets
Whale: >$10k bought or sold
Dolphin: $1k-$10k bought or sold
Shrimp: $250-$1k bought or sold

[OCT 1st UPDATES – TRADING PRESETS S1/S2/S3 + ORDERS PAGE]

Update #1 - Many of our users have been asking for new ways to quickly swap out their settings for priority, bribe, slippage and mev-protection depending on the scenario (new launches, regular buying, etc.)

Our engineers have just rolled out the new Trading Presets and you can now customize up to 3 different settings when you head to the Settings page: https://photon-sol.tinyastro.io/en/settings

Once set up, from the buy menu on any token page, you'll be able to click on S1/S2/S3 to instantly switch between any one of your 3 trading presets, depending on the situation.

For Auto-Buy - you can specify the % change in market cap for S1/S2/S3

For Auto-Sell - you can specify the % change in market cap & the % of holdings you'd like to sell for S1/S2/S3

[NOV 6TH UPDATES – TRADING SAME TOKEN ACROSS MULTIPLE POOLS]

From time to time, our users may wish to buy from an Orca pool, and sell into a Raydium pool (or vice versa) to take advantage of price differences.

We’ve recently made an update to show you exactly how many tokens you have remaining in your Photon trading wallet across ALL pools. Below are 2 examples to better illustrate what you’ll see under My Holdings now when you buy across multiple pools.

Example 1: You buy 100 tokens from an Orca pool, then you buy another 100 tokens from a Raydium pool. You’ll see that the same token will be listed twice in My Holdings. And under “Remaining”, you’ll see that you have 200 across the 2 pools.

Example 2: You buy 100 tokens from an Orca pool, then you sell 50 tokens into a Raydium pool. Under “Remaining”, you’ll see that you have 50 across the 2 pools.

For further clarification, in the screenshot attached, you can see that 0.01 SOL was invested in $Pnut across 2 pools, and we received 15 $Pnut for each buy. You can also see that under REMAINING, there is a total of 30 tokens, to represent the total amount of $Pnut held in your wallet.

Lastly, our engineers have been working on a major feature that we hope will make trading more efficient and open up new opportunities for our users. This will be dropping very soon.
