F&S is back with another event! To welcome you back to school, we will be giving out an assortments snacks at the PH Foyer🥨🥠🥨🥠
In the spirit of sustainability, the snacks will not be packed so please remember to bring your own container when you come down to collect.
We will also be conducting a clothing drive in collaboration with project susteenability alongside our snack giveaway. If you contribute to our clothing drive by donating your pre loved clothing, you will be eligible to collect more snacks! 🥳🥳🥳

Through Garden Walks, we hope to provide more opportunities for you to be immersed in nature, get some exercise, and escape from the screens we see every waking minute!🌿🌴🌿
Join us for our first walk at HortPark, a one-stop gardening resource hub that brings together gardening-related, recreational, educational, research and retail activities under one big canopy in a park setting. Learn more about different types of plants that can be grown, as well as some tips and tricks to grow your own food!🌱🌱

Welcome to our first themed post! 🚩In this post, we'd dive deep into the heart of FnS - the Gardening Interest Group, and how they repurpose stuff in PH🌱
Take-home Recyclable Pots 🌸
The Gardening IGLs had an idea - to let everyone have the chance to plant with their own hands. The sustainable way to do this? Plastic bottles.
Some who didn't manage to get their hands on plastic bottles settled for creative alternatives - Milo boxes, yoghurt cups...you name it! 💡
Cardboard Composting📦
Gardening IG makes their own compost from a very unlikely material - cardboard.
Indeed, its relatively quick decomposing makes cardboard a handy source of carbon for the soil. Plus, the pros go on...odor-free, easy to use and most importantly, accessible.
Terrarium Stones🪨
Do you know that the stones in the previous FnS Terrarium Workshop were from PH's very own garden❓
The Gardening IGLs still have stones to clear, so if you're interested, Gardening IG is definitely welcoming help!
