As the article notes, pro-Israel members of Congress from both parties have previously warned repeatedly that the ICC risks U.S. repercussions if it moves ahead with the warrants.

House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul confirmed the bill was in the works and he and other GOP lawmakers were in contact with ICC prosecutor Karim Khan.

“We want to emphasize to him that going down this route of arrest warrants is a really bad idea and it will blow up the relationship,” McCall said. “We're not sure if arrest warrants will be imminent, but it's kind of a precaution to let them know that if they do, we have the law in place.” It will not be placed on the floor unless necessary.”

McCaul said the bill would complement a bill Sen. Tom Cotton introduced last February to sanction ICC officials involved in investigations of U.S. allies that are not ICC members, such as Israel.

Khan was sent a letter warning that the arrest warrants "will result in severe sanctions against you and your institution."

Last week, a bipartisan group of senators held a virtual meeting with ICC representatives. Khan said his office "is committed to constructive engagement with all stakeholders whenever such dialogue is consistent with its mandate... to act independently and impartially."

“However, this independence and impartiality is undermined when individuals threaten to retaliate against the court or court staff,” he said. “The Office insists that all attempts to obstruct, intimidate, or improperly influence its officials cease immediately.”

Ovo je spektakularna vijest, nakon što je šef Republikanaca u zastupničkom domu glasao za slanje oružja u Ukrajinu, zastupnica Republikanske stranke koja se tome protivi pokrenula je proceduru za njegovu smjeni. Ali, vjerovali ili ne, od smjene ga štite Demokrati.

Srž cijele priče je u tome da kad postoji agenda kojoj služe obije stranke, onda zastupnici Demokrata štite Republikanca od smjene, isto bi bilo i da je obratno. Stvarnu opoziciju tom sustavu čini samo nekolicina zastupnika poput MTG.

Često puta neki kritičari Rusije stave video nekakve vukojebini u Rusiji koja izgleda strašno siromašno i kažu - ovo je Rusija. I u pravu su, stvarno ima mjesta u Rusiji koja izgledaju strašno loše, ali opet - radi se o nekakvim vukojebinama, lokacijama za koje nitko od nas na Zapadu nije nikad čuo.

Dok u Americi - najveći gradovi, ili bolje rečeno centri tih gradova izgledaju prestrašno, hrpa beskućnika, narkomana, šatorskih naselja, smeća i fekalija po svuda! Kriminal je tamo takav da se doslovce ne smiješ kretati određenim djelovima grada ili pak nakon zalaska sunca, trgovine se zbog konstantnih krađa zatvaraju, izlozi su prazni.

Htio bi još nešto reći, Rusija se razvija, bez obzira tko što mislio o Putinu, iz godine u godinu opći standard ide na bolje, raste kvaliteta života. Je li to slučaj i u Americi?

Dakle, problem za neko društvo nije samo gdje se ono nalazi danas, nego treba gledati kako je danas u usporedbi s prije 20 godina, tako možemo vidjeti kakav je trend i koji je smijer u kojem neko društvo ide.

Paradoksalno, Amerika je bila bolja prije 20 godina nego danas, i problem nije u novcu, novca ima, nego je problem u politici koja namjerno uništava Ameriku

Nažalost, sve negativnosti tamo iz godine u godinu poprimaju sve veće i stravičnije razmjere. Degeneracija društva se tamo potiče i uzdiže, sama misao da je trećina ljudi u Americi morbidno debela (BMI preko 30) govori vam sve o kvaliteti njihovog života i ishrane.

Amerika je bolesno društvo koje te svoje bolesne vrijednosti (način života i ishranu) želi nametnuti ostatku svijeta. Pitanje se postavlja da li želite Amerikanizaciju Hrvatske? Želite li da idemo u tom smijeru?
