According to Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz, the Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI), states that many export markets require ESG compliance from exporters. Therefore, it is crucial to prepare our companies, particularly SMEs, for the transition to become more ESG-compliant.

The announcement came during the launch of Malaysia's inaugural one-megawatt Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in December 2022, which now powers the Genetec Technology EPIC plant.
