Too many negatives in the real exam
Wish all of you a very happy Dussehra dosto 💐😊

Make it memorable by choosing one bad habit of yours to drop this preparation cycle. It may be anything - not planning, not sticking to your schedule, time barbaad karna idhar udhar, Netflix anything that you think is a major roadblock in your productivity. You will definitely see lots of changes in your preparation. Sometime all we need is a push, a start - one step at a time. Lets do it.
Sir, padhne me man nahi lag raha hai. Kya kia jae?

Yaar, mera bhi nahi kar raha man padhne ka.. Kal class hai Ethics batch ki.. Kya karun? Nahi padhun?.. I think I don't have a choice. I have to study, I have to deliver.

Choice to tumhare Paas bhi nahi hai dost.. Tumhe lagta hai ki choice hai.. Nahi padhenge to last moment me kar lenge (as we believe in fairy tales of turnaround).. But life me aisa nahi hota hai...

Main aaj nahi padhunga to Kal bache mujhe gali denge.. Tum nahi padhoge aaj, to Kal tumhe koi kuch nahi bolega.. Parson bhi nahi bolega.. ..Yahi pseudo comfort tumhe feel deta hai choice ka. But ant me har koi bolega, aur tab tumhare haath me koi choice nahi hogi..

Dosto, padhna likhna ya koi bhi profession discipline demand karta hai. Aur wo koi man se nahi hota.. There is pain of discipline. The more you endure now, the less you will experience it later.

You also don't have choice. Realize it. Take control of your life as only you can do it for yourself. You owe it to yourself.

Best wishes!

PS. Please do work on your essays before prelims as it might take time for you to improve the various lacunas, specially if you lack writing skills per se. Some aspirants do have good writing knack like Mehak. She was able to improve dramatically within few sessions. However for someone who have not explored writing before, it becomes challanging for them. Irrespective of your decision to join the prog, Do assess yourself honestly and take action accordingly.
India's match yesterday was not just a treat to watch but also offers valuable lessons for upsc aspirants.

1) Did you notice Rohit was beaten & was on the verge of getting out many times. In any competition, no matter how prepared and talented you are, you will always need some luck to survive & flourish.

The fact that we cannot control everything should make you humble and conscious of the uncertainties that might unfold in real competition. The key however is to trust your process, methods and preparation. It might just happen that while solving prelims paper, you see yourself beaten by art & Culture /medieval history etc. However instead of loosing your cool and confidence, you must approach the other areas afresh like Rohit did and smash the doable questions to sixes. Don't be like Shreyas to throw your cool and get out (score too many negatives)

Wish you a very happy Diwali dear students 😊
Semi Final tomorrow!

As compared to earlier, India's batting has clicked with almost all batsman amongst runs... Earlier we were too dependent on top order.. Similarly bowling has also clicked as unit.... Ye sab confidence de raha hai but dhak dhak ho rela hai 😔 2019 ki memories nasoor ban gayin hain.. What do you think of tomorrow's match?

What is your prediction?
