Today's Beautiful Hadith is about the Parable

Narrated Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (RA): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) narrated:

"The parable of the believer who recites the Qur'an is that of a citron, its fragrance is nice and its taste is nice. The parable of the believer who does not recite Qur'an is that of a date, it has no smell but its taste is sweet. The parable of the hypocrite who recites Qur'an is that of basil, its fragrance is nice but its taste is bitter. The parable of the hypocrite who does not recite the Qur'an is that of the colocynth, its smell is bitter and its taste is bitter."

(Jami'at-Tirmidhi, Book 42, Hadith 2865)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He who utters ten times: 'La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahulmulku wa lahulhamdu, wa Huwa 'ala kulli sha'in Qadir (there is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner with Him. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent),' he will have a reward equal to that for freeing four slaves from the progeny of Prophet Isma'il."

Ibn Hibbān Al-Bustī:

"True brothers (or sisters) are known during times of need, for indeed everyone is a friend during the good times. And the worst of brothers (or sisters) are those that betray their brethren in times of hardship and need."

(Rawdat-ul-'Uqalā’)
From the advise of the righteous ones:

Increase in the recitation of the Qurān and do not leave it, for indeed that which you seek will be made easy according to how much you recite.

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Mercy

Narrated Aisha (RA): Some Bedouin people came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "Do you kiss your children?" He said: "Yes". He said: "But we, by Allah, never kiss (our children)". The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'What can I do if Allah has taken away mercy from you?'"

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3665, Book 33, Hadith 9) 🕊

The Fluctuations Of Time Are Tests From Allāh

Glory is to Allāh Who subjects His slaves (to trials) in order to test their patience and expose their true nature in times of hardship!

Angels prostrated to Adam ('alayhi as-salām), while shortly thereafter he was expelled from Paradise (jannah).

Nūh ('alayhi as-salām) was beaten until fainted, while shortly thereafter he was rescued in the ark, and his enemies were destroyed.

Ibrāhīm ('alayhi as-salām) was thrown in the fire, and then came out to safety (salāma).

Isma'eel ('alayhi as-salām) lied down in surrender to be slaughtered, then he came to safety, and his praise remained.

Ya'qūb ('alayhi as-salām) lost his eyesight after losing his son, and then he regained it after reuniting with his son.

Mūsā ('alayhi as-salām) was a shepherd, and then was elevated to a rank where he spoke to Allāh (taqlīm).

Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) was an orphan and faced many hardships from his enemies, and from financial difficulties; yet he persevered and was firm as a mountain. After his objective was fulfilled and when he conquered Makkah, the Angel of death came to him and took his soul while going through the pangs of death.

Whoever observes the sea of life, knows how its waves should be received and know how to be patient while dealing the changing days, will not panic when calamity (bilā') strikes. And will not become overly happy when good times (rikhā') arrive immediately.

’Umar ibn al-Khattab:

“None is endowed with a blessing from Allah, except that you’ll find someone envying him for it. And even if a person were to be more upright than an arrow, you shall still find someone criticising him. And a word brings no harm if there is no-one entertaining it.”

– Rawdhatul-‘Uqala’ by Ibn Hibban.
We forget that the forgiveness of Allah is throughout our whole lives and not just in Ramadhan. So continue on asking Him and repenting and He will open many doors that you never thought you would see
