📌📌 Successful Completion of Capacity Building Workshop📌📌
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a two-day training workshop held from December 2nd to 3rd, 2024. The event took place at the Justice for All Peace and Justice Training and Conference Center in Adama City. This workshop was aimed at strengthening the capacity and creating awareness among Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and networks of CSOs working in the area of human rights.
Workshop Objectives:
The workshop was organized by Justice for All in collaboration with the Agency for Civil Society Organizations (ACSO) and the Consortium of Ethiopian Human Rights Organizations (CEHRO). The main objectives were to:
• Enhance the understanding of a human rights-based approach to programming among participants.
• Improve policy advocacy and monitoring skills.
• Provide insights into the policy and legal landscape affecting CSOs.
• Promote effective governance within the CSO sector.
• Encourage a culture of internal democracy and accountability within CSOs.
• Clarify the operational procedures and directives applicable to CSOs.
Participation and Engagement:
We were delighted to have over eighty participants who represented a diverse range of CSOs, networks of CSOs, and ACSO. The participants engaged in meaningful discussions on the themes mentioned above, fostering a collaborative and insightful environment.
Gratitude and Acknowledgments:
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the program coordinators and facilitators for their dedication and hard work in making this workshop a success. The collective efforts of the organizing team and the participants have significantly contributed to achieving the workshop's objectives.

The event spans three days, concluding on December 8, 2024, and offers a diverse array of opportunities for participants, including:
· Exhibitions: Organizations will have the chance to showcase their work, share their achievements, and highlight their impact on society.
· Discussions: Engaging panel discussions and sessions will address pressing issues and explore solutions to challenges faced by CSOs in Ethiopia.
· Networking: Participants will have ample opportunities to connect with stakeholders, forge new partnerships, and strengthen existing relationships.
· Outreach Events: Special events aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of the vital role CSOs play in promoting peace and development.
