Mandatory PirateCash Core v22.1.4 Update Released

PirateCash Core v22.1.4, based on Dash Core 22.1.3, is now available.
This is a mandatory update. All previous PirateCash Core versions are incompatible with the main network. Masternode owners and node operators must upgrade before MN_RR activates at block 1,910,840.

Key changes include:
• Encrypted P2P connections with BIP324 v2 support;
• Asset Unlock and withdrawal improvements;
• Masternode and quorum optimizations;
• New RPC features and wallet improvements;
• More stable synchronization and network connections;
• Proof-of-Stake and block-header handling fixes;
• General performance and reliability improvements.

To upgrade, stop the previous PirateCash Core version and wait for it to shut down completely. Replace the existing binaries and start the client again. A blockchain reindex is not normally required.

PirateCash Core v23.1.7 is now available. This release ports PirateCash to the Dash Core v23.1.7 codebase and includes the applicable improvements from the entire v23 series.

The latest P.CASH Wallet v0.58.2 introduces full support for the Zcash Ironwood network upgrade, making the transition to the new shielded pool simple and secure.

With the activation of Ironwood, Zcash is moving from the Orchard shielded pool to a new generation of shielded addresses. If your ZEC is still stored in Orchard, your funds remain completely safe—nothing happens to them automatically. However, to continue using all features of the updated network, you’ll eventually need to migrate your funds.

P.CASH Wallet now handles this process for you.

What you need to do

Update to P.CASH Wallet v0.58.2.
Wait until your wallet is fully synchronized.
If your wallet is eligible for migration, you’ll see a prompt to move your funds.

🔄 SWAP 6: Launch Timeline, New Exchange Process, and Additional Bonuses

Dear users,

You keep asking when SWAP 6 will begin. In this announcement, we would like to explain the expected timeline, the preparations currently underway, and the new opportunities that will allow participants to increase their final payout.

📅 When will SWAP 6 begin?

As we previously promised, SWAP 6 was planned for August–September. At this stage, we are leaning toward opening applications for the exchange in September.

Why are we not announcing an exact date yet?

During the previous five exchanges, we identified several problems that users encountered. Before launching SWAP 6, we want to resolve these issues and make sure that the entire new process works correctly.

1. A new personal account dashboard

During previous exchanges, many users did not understand how to submit an application correctly. In addition, it was difficult to fit all the necessary information conveniently on a small smartphone screen.

To solve this problem, we are developing a new personal account dashboard that will be accessible not only from a phone, but also from a computer or another device with a larger screen.

The application process will become much clearer and more convenient. This new dashboard is also part of our preparations for the second season of the game. The team is currently working actively on its development.

2. Increasing your payout with an NFT

SWAP 6 introduces a new way to increase the amount of PIRATE you receive by using an NFT. This functionality has already been implemented.

Available NFTs must be checked only through the Mini App in @piratecash_bot.

The bot determines which NFT can be used to receive the +90% bonus, because the NFT must be linked to the same address that will be used to receive the payout.

Simply holding an NFT in your wallet without correctly linking it to the payout address does not guarantee that the bonus will be applied. Before submitting your application, make sure that your NFT is displayed in the @piratecash_bot Mini App and linked to the correct address.

3. A warning before receiving a black mark

During SWAP 5, users who used auto-clickers received black marks. Some participants claimed that they were unaware that auto-clickers were prohibited, which resulted in significant negative feedback.

In SWAP 6, the system will first send the user a warning that the use of auto-clickers is prohibited.

If the system detects another violation after the user has received this notification, the user will receive a black mark.

This mechanism is already being tested.

Why has the exact date not been announced yet?

The team has an internal deadline by which all required functionality must be completed. However, we do not want to announce a specific date before development and testing are fully finished.

Otherwise, any adjustment to our internal schedule would be perceived as a delay to a previously promised date.

For now, we can confidently confirm the following:

Applications for SWAP 6 are planned to open in September.

The exact date will be announced after we have tested all planned features and confirmed that the system is fully ready for launch.

🎁 Good news for SWAP 6 participants

The new exchange will include several ways to increase your final payout.

1. An increased SWAP 6 budget

The number of players and coins has increased significantly, so we have decided to increase the overall SWAP 6 budget.

This will allow more PIRATE to be distributed among participants.

2. Premium will provide an additional 5%

You can activate Premium to increase the amount exchanged.

During the previous exchange, this bonus was available only to Android users. In SWAP 6, Premium can be activated on any supported device.

Active Premium will provide:

+5% to the exchange amount

3. An additional 5% for SWAP 5 participants

Users who participated in SWAP 5 and have not reinstalled the P.CASH app or deleted its data will be able to receive:

an additional +5% to the exchange amount

Any eligible NFT will provide an additional 90%

Any NFT that is displayed in the @piratecash_bot Mini App and correctly linked to the payout address will provide:

+90% to the exchange amount

The bot will verify the NFT and payout address before deciding whether the bonus can be applied.

Together, Premium, the SWAP 5 participation bonus, and an NFT will allow users to receive:

up to 100% of the balance available for exchange

These standard bonuses cannot increase the exchange amount beyond 100%. However, three unique NFTs will provide separate additional rewards, which are described below.

🛡 Additional NFT privileges

In addition to the +90% bonus, an NFT provides two more important benefits:

protection from a black mark during SWAP 6 only;
the ability to remove a disqualification free of charge in all exchanges.

An NFT therefore not only increases the payout amount, but also provides its owner with additional in-game privileges.

💎 Three unique NFTs with special rewards

After all NFTs have been sold, we will hold a special livestream.

During the livestream, three NFTs will be selected at random, and their owners will receive unique additional rewards.

The owner’s final payout will be:

The following amount will be added to the calculated payout:

These rewards will be applied separately and will allow the owners of the three selected NFTs to receive more than the standard maximum of 100%.

Preparations for SWAP 6 are ongoing. Follow the official announcements, avoid reinstalling the app unless necessary, and check your NFTs in the @piratecash_bot Mini App in advance to make sure they are correctly linked to your future payout address.

🎲 Human Entropy — Create Your Own Entropy

The security of a seed phrase starts with the quality of the randomness used to create it.

The history of cryptocurrency includes cases where problems with random number generators resulted in predictable keys and, ultimately, the loss of funds. This does not mean that software or hardware wallets are inherently insecure. However, with conventional seed generation, users have to trust the random number generator implemented by their device or software.

We decided to offer an alternative approach.

Introducing Human Entropy — an open-source project that allows you to create cryptographic entropy yourself using real-world physical randomness.

With Human Entropy, you choose and control the source of randomness.

For example, you can:

🎲 roll a physical die, such as a D16;
🪙 flip a coin;
🃏 use a thoroughly shuffled deck of playing cards;
or use other supported sources of physical randomness.

The application does not attempt to replace your randomness with its own. You generate the randomness physically, while Human Entropy converts the resulting sequence into cryptographic entropy that can be used to create a standard BIP-39 seed phrase.

This means that if you don’t want to rely exclusively on the random number generator built into your device, you now have the option to control the source of entropy yourself.

⚠️ For maximum security, we strongly recommend using Human Entropy offline.

The preferred approach is to download the source code from the official repository, disconnect the device from the Internet, and only then generate your seed phrase. The online demo is primarily intended for exploring and testing the project.

Human Entropy will also be integrated into P.CASH Wallet in an upcoming release, providing users with an additional way to create their seed phrases.

The project is fully open source: anyone can inspect the source code, verify the algorithm, and run it independently.

Don’t blindly trust randomness — create it yourself.

🚨 Mandatory Update: PirateCash Core 23.1.8

A new version of PirateCash Core v23.1.8 is now available.

⚠️ This is a mandatory update for all masternode operators and stakers.

The release includes important security fixes, resolves several remotely exploitable issues, and improves overall network stability.

What you need to do

Update PirateCash Core to v23.1.8.
If you operate a masternode, you must also update Corsad to v1.0.64.

We’ve renamed the P.CASH mobile wallet repository from pcash-wallet-android to pcash-wallet.

This is a small but necessary change: P.CASH will soon no longer be an Android-only application. As we prepare to expand the wallet to additional platforms, the old repository name no longer reflects the direction of the project.
