⚠️ IMPORTANT NETWORK UPDATE - PirateCash Core v19.1.2

All node operators who support the upcoming v19 hardfork should update their nodes to PirateCash Core v19.1.2 before May 16, 2026.

📈 The network has already started actively upgrading to v19.1.2.

Key changes in v19:
• Performance Nodes for EVO with collateral of 40,000 PIRATE • Masternodes now require corsa-node to start and operate • Multiple consensus and network stability fixes

🗳 Hardfork voting details:
Voting will take place in windows of 4032 blocks starting from:
📅 Saturday, May 16, 2026 until 📅 Sunday, May 23, 2027

To activate the hardfork, the network must reach:
✅ 80%+ approval within a 4032 block voting window

If consensus is reached, the next 4032 blocks become a lock-in period.
If the first voting round succeeds, the network will switch to the new consensus rules around May 27–28, and outdated masternodes may receive PoSe bans.
⛏ Voting is performed by miners - the entities producing blocks - allowing the network to reach decentralized consensus on the upgrade.

🚀 Version 0.55.0 introduces a new premium feature — “Pseudo Calculator”

The app can now look and behave like a regular calculator.
If the calculation result matches your PIN code, the wallet unlocks.

No extra screens, logos, or hints of crypto — just a calculator.

🔐 This update also adds support for Trezor hardware wallets.

All models are supported for:
BTC, LTC, BCH, DOGE, ETH, BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and Stellar.

Dash is supported only on Trezor One and Model T.
Solana is supported only on Model T, Safe 3, Safe 5, and Safe 7.

All users, node operators, and masternode owners should update their clients before the upcoming activation dates.

Estimated schedule (UTC):

• Signaling starts — May 20, 2026 07:01 UTC
• Locked in — May 25, 2026 03:01 UTC
• Activation — May 29, 2026 23:01 UTC

Please also make sure your masternodes are updated to the latest version. Old versions may stop working correctly after activation.

The PirateCash network has started preparing for the v19 activation

At the moment, 836 blocks out of 927 have already signaled support for the upgrade, which means the chances of a successful v19 activation are now very high.

If the current pace continues, v19 is expected to activate on May 28.

❗ If you are a miner, masternode operator, or full node operator, you should update as soon as possible. Older versions will not be able to fully operate on the network after the hardfork activation.

🇵🇹 Portuguese is now available in @piratecash_bot!

🚀 New Release: PirateCash Core 20.1.1

Today, the PirateCash network successfully activated the v19 consensus rules at block 1858752 (May 29, 2026, 06:10:44 UTC). Shortly afterward, at block 1858794, outdated clients that had not upgraded were forked off the main network and are no longer following the valid blockchain.

We strongly recommend that all masternode operators upgrade to PirateCash Core 20.1.1 as soon as possible.

Please also note that after June 13, 2026, the network will begin signaling for v20 activation. To participate in signaling and remain compatible with the network after activation, your node must be upgraded before that date.

Do not delay upgrading — running an outdated version may cause your node to follow an invalid chain and lose synchronization with the main network. 🚢☠️

⚠️ Most PirateCash Nodes Are Still Running Outdated Versions

According to current network statistics, the most common PirateCash Core version is still 18.2.4, even though 19.1.2 was released more than a month ago and 20.1.1 became available yesterday.

If you have not upgraded yet, you risk experiencing issues with staking, masternode rewards, exchange deposits and withdrawals, and overall network synchronization.

As a reminder, the v19 consensus rules were successfully activated yesterday. Following activation, outdated clients that did not support the new rules were forked off the valid blockchain at block 1858794 and are no longer following the main network.

❗ We strongly recommend upgrading directly to PirateCash Core 20.1.1 rather than 19.1.2.

This is especially important for:
• Masternode operators;
• Users receiving staking rewards through PirateCash Core;
• Users sending funds to exchanges or accepting payments through PirateCash Core.

We would also like to remind everyone that on June 13, 2026, the network will begin signaling for v20 activation. Nodes that are not upgraded in advance risk finding themselves on the wrong chain again when the next upgrade phase begins.

2026 will be one of the most active years for PirateCash network upgrades. If you use PirateCash Core to store funds, receive rewards, process payments, or operate a masternode, keeping your software up to date is no longer optional — it is essential.

Don’t wait until rewards stop arriving, deposits are rejected, or your node falls out of sync with the network. Upgrading takes only a few minutes, while the consequences of running an outdated client can be much more costly.

Mandatory PirateCash Core v22.1.4 Update Released

PirateCash Core v22.1.4, based on Dash Core 22.1.3, is now available.
This is a mandatory update. All previous PirateCash Core versions are incompatible with the main network. Masternode owners and node operators must upgrade before MN_RR activates at block 1,910,840.

Key changes include:
• Encrypted P2P connections with BIP324 v2 support;
• Asset Unlock and withdrawal improvements;
• Masternode and quorum optimizations;
• New RPC features and wallet improvements;
• More stable synchronization and network connections;
• Proof-of-Stake and block-header handling fixes;
• General performance and reliability improvements.

To upgrade, stop the previous PirateCash Core version and wait for it to shut down completely. Replace the existing binaries and start the client again. A blockchain reindex is not normally required.

Please note: the macOS Apple Silicon release is now distributed as a ZIP archive instead of a DMG image.
