When you start paying API you realize how insanely subsidized the subscriptions are; especially the ones from OAI.

As a very rough estimate you probably have 1000$ of API WEEKLY in in the 200$ monthly sub

I'm curious if they will disclose margins split by subscriptions and API on their S1; I believe the APIs margins will be very high, while the subscriptions will be very low

But as usage get more complex subscriptions won't be sufficient so the big users naturally migrate to APIs so economics are probably fine

The biggest issue is still progress stalling, becasue if they don't have anything more than the Chinese models while being a lot more expensive it's gonna be a problem
