RUSSIA CUTS OIL OUTPUT TO 17-YEAR LOW

Russia has slashed its 2026 oil production forecast to 494.2 million tons, the lowest since 2009, Reuters reports.

The downgrade reflects Ukrainian drone attacks, refinery disruptions and export constraints linked to the war.

Crude exports are forecast to rise to 244.7 million tons, while fuel exports are expected to plunge to 98.5 million tons.

Oil production through 2029 is now forecast below previous estimates.
