A huge challenge stood before them:
Who would cross the vast ocean and return successfully?
Many mighty warriors spoke about their abilities, but none were confident enough to complete the mission.
Meanwhile, Hanuman Ji sat quietly in a corner.
Seeing this, Jambavan Ji, the wise elder, approached him and said:
"Hanuman, have you forgotten who you are? As a child, you leaped toward the Sun thinking it was a fruit. You possess immense strength, but you have simply forgotten it."
The moment Hanuman Ji remembered his true potential, his confidence returned. He grew in size, gathered his courage, and crossed the ocean in a single leap.
Lesson for Aspirants
Most people do not fail because they lack ability.
They fail because they forget what they are capable of.
During the preparation journey for UPSC, CAPF, CDS, NDA, or any competitive examination, there will be days when the syllabus looks endless, the competition seems overwhelming, and self-doubt starts creeping in.
At those moments, remember Hanuman Ji.
The strength required to achieve your goal is often already within you. What is missing is not capability—it is belief.
Every aspirant needs a "Jambavan" at some point: a mentor, a teacher, a friend, or even an inner voice that reminds them of their potential.
So whenever you feel discouraged, ask yourself:
"Have I really reached my limit, or have I simply forgotten my strength?"
Because the day you truly believe in your abilities, even the ocean standing between you and your dream will become just another step in your journey.
