from the nasopharyngeal mucosa

• WHO classification of
nasopharyngeal carcinoma to :
- Nonkeratinizing squamous cell
carcinoma
• Differentiated subtype
• Undifferentiated subtype
- Keratinizing squamous cell
carcinoma
- Basaloid squamous cell
carcinoma

#Causes
• Epstein Barr virus (EBV)
• attributed to high risk human
papillomavirus (HPV)
