#Definition
⁃ is a narrowing of the arteries caused by a buildup of plaque.
ويلّي كمان نقول عنها arteriosclerosis

ايش المقصود من الكلام هذا ؟!
قصده انه الشرايين يحصل له تضيق بسبب تكون او ترسب دهون على جدار اَي شريان في جسمنا
فمن الأسم نفسه 👇🏻
⁃ Artery تعني شريان
⁃ Sclerosis تعني تصلب

طيب ذا التصلب بسبب ايش ؟!
يكون بسبب دهون تراكمات على جدار الشرايين فصار صلب وبالتالي الشريان يتضيق ويلّي يمكن نقول عليه hardening of the arteries
وبهكذا نكون عرفنا ايش معنى Atherosclerosis

ويلي هي عباره عن تجمعات من الـ foam cell وهذه الـ foam cell عباره عن macrophage filled with LDL هذه التجمعات تكون في طبقة الـ intima

• Atherosclerosis plaque
هذه عبارة عن آفة ( lesions ) نميز بها تصلب الشرايين والتي يمكن ان نسميها ايضاً atheroma or atheromatous والتي تكون عبارة عن دهون او fibro fatty plaque اترسبت على جدار الشرايين فسبب تضيق في الشرايين
