The story shows the dangers of disbelieving in Allah, associating partners with him and boasting about His blessings and not thanking Him for them! For the blessings of Allah will remain if He is thanked for them, however if He is not thanked for them, they will perish!

أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ كَانَ لأَهْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَوْمَانِ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ " كَانَ لَكُمْ يَوْمَانِ تَلْعَبُونَ فِيهِمَا وَقَدْ أَبْدَلَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهِمَا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمَا يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ وَيَوْمَ الأَضْحَى " .
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The people of the Jahiliyyah had two days each year when they would play. When the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) came to Al-Madinah he said: 'You had two days when you would play, but Allāh (SWT) has given Muslims something instead that is better than them: the day of Al-Fitr and the day of Al-Adha.'"
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1556
وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ, فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ. 1 .
1 - صحيح. رواه أبو داود (4031).
Ibn ’Umar (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said: “He who imitates any people (in their actions) is considered to be one of them.” Related by Abu Dawud and Ibn Hibban graded it as Sahih
Bulugh al-Maram
Abdullah bin 'Umar says:
"Anyone who settles in the land of the non-Muslims and celebrates their Nayruz(1) and their Mahrajaan(2), and keeps imitating them until they die in that state, will be gathered with them on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Bayhaqi 9/234
(1) Nowruz is the first day of the Persian year, and the festival continues for five days after that.
(2) Persian festival
‼️New years is not from our deen. It is not from Islam‼️
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: "The people of the Jahiliyyah had two days each year when they would play. If someone asks you:
"What is your religion?"
Say: My religion is the true religion of Islaam.
The proof for this is Allāh's saying:
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْأِسْلامُ
"Verily, the only true religion in the sight of Allāh is Islaam."
Surah Aali ‘Imrān
3:19
And Allāh says:
هُوَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ
"He is the One who sent His Messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth."
Surah At-Tawbah
9:33
And Allāh says:
وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْأِسْلَمِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ
وَهُوَ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
"And whoever looks for a religion other than Islām, it will never be accepted from him and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers."

If someone asks you:
"Who is your Prophet?"
Say: My Prophet and the Prophet of this entire nation is Muhammad ﷺ the Messenger of Allāh
(صلى الله عليه وسلم)
The proof for this is Allāh's saying:
مَا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ مِنْ رِجَالِكُمْ وَلَكِنْ ولَكِن رَّسُولَ اللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ النَّبِيِّينَ
"Muhammad ﷺ is not the father of any of your men, but rather he is the Messenger of Allāh and the last of the Prophets"
(عليهم السلام)
Surah Al-Ahzāb
33:40
هُوَ الَّذِي بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولاً مِنْهُمْ يَتْلُواْ عَلَيْهِمْ ءَآيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُواْ مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَاَالٍ مُبِينٍ
"He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah (As-Sunnah: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). And verily, they had been before in mainfest error."
Surah Al-Jumuah
62:2
فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ الَّذِي يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَكَلِمَاتِهِ وَاتَّبِعُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
"So believe in Allāh and His Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ), the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believes in Allāh and His Words (This Qur'an), the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and also Allāh's Word: "Be!" - and he was, i.e. 'Iesa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Mary) and follow him so that you may be guided."
Surah Al-'Arāf

Truffle Juice is a cure for the eye
On the authority of Saʿeed ibn Zayd (may Allāh be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
((الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَمَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ
لِلْعَيْنِ))
“The truffle is from manna, and its water is a cure for the eye.”
[Al-Bukhārī & Muslim]
Imām An-Nawawī rahimahullah said:
“The correct view is that its water is an absolute cure for the eye. It is squeezed and its water is applied to the eye. He said: I have seen many people in our time whose eyes were blind and whose eyesight had truly gone; they applied their eyes with truffle water, and they were cured and their sight returned.”
